Queen

Act inspired by the musical SIX, which tells the story of the six wives of Henry VIII. As it is widely known there is only one queen, so we will focus on the story of the fourth wife of king - Anna of Cleves.  Anna was chosen by the king, but rejected immediately after the first meeting, due to the lack of resemblance to the portrait - "profile picture". However, she could not complain about her fate, the king gave her land and a palace in Richmond, and she also survived longer than any of the other wives.  Translating this story into today's language, it was a favorable deal for her, as she received a huge fortune and no one to tell her what to do and how to live. It is surprising that today the story from 1540 is still valid and we will show it in a burlesque, royal atmosphere highlighted by dancing with huge fans of pheasant feathers.
